GOGO GIRL
I'm hannah, the girl behind GoGo.
I’m a personal stylist, fashion educator and vintage curator. I grew up on the earliest seasons of Project Runway, taking every word Tim Gunn said as gospel. Now, with nearly ten years of experience in vintage retail, I’ve built my dream career merging my favorite things: fashion, politics and YOU! I have a Master’s in Art Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I wrote my thesis on the intersection of fashion and political movements throughout history–and I still won’t shut up about it! I have given talks on the subject around the city: guest lecturing at the Art Institute, teaching historical garment workshops for Lost Girls Vintage, featuring as a panelist for Sustainable Fashion Week Chicago, and now hosting my own fashion and politics talk series at GoGo Studio. I’ve been invited to speak on the subject on two podcasts as well: the Pelvic Freak Show and Bourbon ‘n Browntown (you can find the full episodes at the links provided).
In 2023, I opened a vintage store in West Town with a group of fellow vintage sellers. Our shop, Pep Club Vintage, flourished for two years, helping local curators and artists grow their businesses, and offering opportunities for community engagement through workshops and social events. Despite its success and overwhelming community support, the team decided to part ways in 2025. Pep Club taught me what I loved about running a business (and also what I wanted to change), and I took all that experience with me when I opened GoGo Studio in early 2026. GoGo Studio is my happy place and the perfect space for all my loves to merge: part vintage collection, part fashion event space, part personal styling homebase (and part dance studio!).
